Founded by Steven and Cristen, the business is built on a foundation of integrity, expertise, and a shared passion for providing exceptional property management services. As longtime Wichita residents, they are proud to raise their family in the community they serve.
Steven leads the maintenance division with years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and repair. He also oversees operations for E/H Construction LLC, the company’s fully licensed and insured sister company. Backed by a hardworking, reliable crew, the construction team ensures every property is maintained to the highest standards.
Cristen's education in accounting and her 15+ years of experience in banking and loan underwriting provide a strong foundation for effective tenant screening, financial management, and streamlined operations. Her background managing loan portfolios and assessing credit risk brings valuable insight to every aspect of property management.

Steven Valentine
Co-Owner & Construction Manager
Steven is co-owner of E/H Property Management and E/H Construction, which he runs with his wife of over 20 years, Cristen. Together, they bring complementary strengths to the business—Cristen on the financial and operational side, and Steven on construction and maintenance.
With over 25 years of experience in residential remodeling, Steven leads E/H Construction with a hands-on, practical approach. Since starting the company in 2016, he’s helped property owners make strategic improvements that maximize value without overspending.
Steven is known for his ability to spot what upgrades will make the biggest impact, whether it's a minor fix or a full remodel. He manages a skilled in-house crew and a network of trusted subcontractors to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to high standards.
In his downtime, Steven enjoys hunting, four-wheeling, and competing in long-range rifle events. His precision and focus in these hobbies mirror the professionalism he brings to every project.
Together, Steven and Cristen have built a business based on integrity, quality, and long-term relationships with each other and their clients.
Cristen Valetine
Co-Owner & Property Manager
Cristen is the co-owner of both E/H Property Management and E/H Construction, which she operates alongside her husband and business partner, Steven. Married for over 20 years, the two have built a business rooted in trust, transparency, and a shared passion for quality service.
With a 15-year career in banking and a degree in accounting, Cristen brings a deep understanding of financial systems, credit analysis, and operational efficiency to the property management side of the business. She is committed to helping investors grow their portfolios and ensuring tenants have safe, well-maintained homes they can take pride in.
Cristen thrives on balancing numbers with human connection. Her thoughtful, detail-driven approach makes her a trusted ally for property owners and a responsive, compassionate leader for tenants.
Outside of the office, Cristen enjoys gardening, raising chickens, and spending time with her family. She also serves as Secretary on the board of a nonprofit that supports children with dyslexia—a cause close to her heart as a mother of two daughters who have benefited from specialized tutoring.
